In this webinar, you will learn about vital protections of the 14th Amendment from voting rights experts from the SPLC and Syracuse University.

A discussion of the protections afforded by the 14th Amendment by legal experts from the Southern Poverty Law Center and Syracuse University. We must work to apply and preserve these protections in 2026.

Our distinguished speakers:

Professor Paula C. Johnson, a leading scholar in criminal justice, race, gender, and constitutional law, and Director of the Cold Case Justice Initiative at Syracuse University College of Law.

Arthur Ago, Director of Strategic Litigation and Advocacy at the Southern Poverty Law Center, where he leads work on civil rights and constitutional litigation.

This event is hosted by The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Northwest Georgia Chapter, Inc. and The League of Women Voters of Marietta-Cobb County.
