The City will host a public meeting on July 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the banquet hall of the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
This is an opportunity for the City Council and City staff to hear citizens’ thoughts, concerns, and perspectives on this important topic.
Citizens wishing to speak at the meeting must sign up in person outside the banquet hall before or during the meeting.
The City invites residents to take part in a brief survey to gauge initial community thoughts about large-scale data centers. Results of this survey will be presented at the public meeting on July 7.
The survey portal is now open and will close on Thursday, July 2, at 11:59 p.m.

The meeting will also be streamed live on Optimum Channel 2 or at www.mylubbock.us/video.
