Webinar From the Office of General Counsel
Facilitated by Deputy General Counsel, Myesha Braden
The NAACP has responsibilities to its constituents, including members of the communities where local NAACP units operate, donors, and other stakeholders, who have placed faith in the NAACP. Learn best practices for ensuring that NAACP volunteers and officers:
- Promote fairness and objectivity in all activities.
- Avoid using NAACP resources for personal gain.
- Ensure that personal political endorsements do not suggest or create the appearance of support or opposition by the NAACP as an organization.
- Prevent even the appearance of a conflict of interest which would tarnish the image of the Association and undermine the public’s trust in the NAACP.
